Preparing for Universal Credit: free training

Bristol agencies have developed a city-wide implementation plan for Universal Credit. Partners include DWP, Shelter, ACFA (Advice Centres For Avon), Bristol City Council and Golden Key.

In order to protect the interests of our clients affected by Universal Credit, a train the trainer course has been developed and is now available. All organisations are offered one free space and trainers will be expected to disseminate learning across their organisations. We anticipate this will significantly reduce risk associated with Universal Credit as services will be able to navigate the new system.
