We are delighted to be hosting a series of webinars that will help bring some of Golden Key’s learning to life.

The Golden Key team will be sharing the learning from the programme. A must for those working with people facing multiple disadvantage.

Strengths-based Practice Learning Event
Golden Key is holding an invaluable free learning event for those with an existing understanding of strengths-based approaches.
Join Beth Fouracre, Research Officer and Sam Wilson, Service Manager, as they share Golden's Key's work developing a toolkit on holding strengths-based meetings. This event is a must-attend for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of strengths-based working.

Golden Key’s Great Practice Awards are a celebration of the individuals, organisations and networks that are creating systemic change across Bristol to improve outcomes for people with multiple disadvantage. System Leadership Webinar: Reflective Practice
This webinar examined the value of reflective practice, and all the different forms that can take, from its use in working with people with multiple disadvantage, to how it can improve culture, wellbeing, staff mental health and more.

Ashley Ward - Ashley, also at 1625 People, is an experienced reflective practice facilitator, having developed reflective practice supervision programs and trained staff to facilitate reflective practice groups.

System Leadership webinar: Gender and severe and multiple disadvantage
There are gendered differences in how women experience severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD) in comparison to men. Data collected by Golden Key as part of the programme’s ongoing monitoring shows that outcomes for women facing SMD differ greatly from those of men, with women experiencing poorer outcomes after working with the programme for the same length of time.

System Leadership webinar: The importance of having a diverse board
In this webinar, John Simpson, Independent Chair of the Golden Key partnership board, and Saida Bello, Chair of our EDI steering group, discuss the importance of diversifying a board, the benefits it brings and the challenges it poses. They are joined on the panel by Jason Burrowes, a member of Independent Futures, who shares his personal experience of sitting on the board.

On January 22, 2020 we honoured Bristol's system change heroes, the people who are working hard to improve services for Bristol’s most vulnerable with our Great Practice Awards. The awards were presented by Councillor Asher Craig, Deputy Mayor of Bristol, across 7 categories.
